F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions
What file formats do you accept for post-production?
We accept a wide range of video formats, including ProRes (standard and RAW), DNxHD, H.264, XAVC, and RAW from any camera brand (Arri, Blackmagic, RED, Canon, Sony, etc.), among many others. We always recommend using the highest quality formats to achieve the best results in post-production.
How long does the post-production process take?
The duration depends on the complexity of the project, the length of the material, and specific requirements. A short video for social media can be completed in 2-3 days, while a documentary or film may require weeks or months. We always provide a clear time estimate at the start of the project.
Can I request changes after seeing the first cut?
Absolutely! Our process includes at least a rough cut and a final cut. We understand that feedback is essential to achieve the desired result, so we can also negotiate additional intermediate versions depending on the project's complexity. For major changes or concept shifts after initial approval, extra costs may apply, but these will always be discussed in advance and will be subject to contract addendums.
How are the final materials delivered?
The final materials can be delivered in standard formats for their destination, whether online (MP4 or MOV) or for professional purposes (ProRes or DNxHD). Delivery can be made via secure digital transfer or on physical media (HDD, SSD), depending on your preferences and the size of the project.
Can I access the source materials after the project is finished?
Yes, upon request we can provide the source projects (timeline, project files) for an additional fee. We keep all project materials for up to 90 days after final delivery, but we recommend clients make their own backup copies of the final materials.
